The Boathouse Docklands hall for hire
The Boathouse Docklands is a hall and licensed bar available for private hire and provides the perfect setting for functions including wedding receptions, birthday parties, corporate conferences and dinners, comedy nights and pub quizzes.
Heritage
True to its heritage as the home of the Poplar and Blackwall Rowing Club Est 1845, who still house their boats below the venue, the Boathouse Docklands hall and bar retain a charming rowing character.
The Balcony
The Boathouse Docklands has a superb south facing balcony, accessed via the bar, which overlooks the river, maritime Greenwich and the Cutty Sark. The balcony is large enough for summer BBQ’s or simply for your guests to admire the great view.
The Hall
The hall has capacity to seat 120 guests for dinner or 200 standing and can be separated from the bar area with a concertina dividing wall. The hall can be set up according to your bespoke requirements – with round tables for dinner events, top tables for weddings or be cleared for standing events. Licensed Bar
The Boathouse Docklands bar is fully licensed and well stocked with a full range of spirits, wines, beers and soft drinks and a selection of real ales and bar snacks. The bar is south facing and leads out on to the balcony with its wonderful views over Greenwich and the Thames. The bar is set up in a traditional style but is totally flexible to your event requirements. The area can be separated from the hall with a concertina dividing wall.
